Experts / How we vet

How we vet every expert.

One process for every field and every country. Scored by AI, checked by people, tracked on every task.

Four steps, the same for everyone.

Every expert passes the same checks before they meet a client or see a task.

  1. 10-minute AI interview

After applying, each expert answers structured questions in their field, by voice or text.

  2. Scored L1 to L5

Answers are scored against a rubric and placed on a five-step scale, from Foundation to Top tier.

  3. Human review

A senior expert in the same field checks scores before anyone is shortlisted.

  4. Ongoing quality score

Every task and engagement updates the score. It can go up or down.

Recordings kept for 12 months, deleted sooner on request.

Questions

Questions about vetting? Talk to us.

What does the AI interview ask?

Questions written with senior experts in each field: real cases, reasoning and explanation, not trivia.

Can an expert retake the interview?

A level is valid for 12 months, after which experts take the interview again. If something went wrong during an interview, they can ask for a re-review.

How do you check for bias?

Everyone in a specialisation gets the same questions and the same rubric, written and reviewed by senior experts. A person reviews scores before any shortlist or rejection, and we check score patterns across groups for unfair differences.

Which languages can the interview run in?

The interview runs in English. Experts in language specialisations are also interviewed in the language they work in.

Who sees the recording?

The expert, Kodiva's reviewers, and clients the expert is shortlisted for. Recordings are never used to train AI models.
